Liberty holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly). Her education, training, and experience include civil, structural, and architectural systems, including building envelope and building science systems. She is a Level 1 Thermographer and Board-Certified Forensic Engineer (NAFE) currently serving on the Board of Directors for the National Academy of Forensic Engineers.

Liberty’s career began in structural consulting, designing housing, educational, and medical facilities. She coordinated structural support for extensive modernizations, hospital equipment upgrades, and seismic retrofit measures. Her 17 years of forensic engineering experience include forensic observations, investigations, document review, structural analysis, and performance testing. Liberty’s repair designs involve building envelope (including EIFS, stucco, stone, brick, sidings, sealants, balconies, plaza decks, storefront systems, windows, log home construction, roofing materials, ventilation, ice damming, and component and cladding anchorage.), structural, and civil claims.

As the Director of Civil Engineering Operations, Liberty is responsible for property analysis and design services for a wide variety of clients including property owners, developers, original construction and restoration contractors, insurance companies, and legal professionals. Her experience includes design, third-party review, construction administration, analysis, performance testing, maintenance planning for public and private institutions.
